NIMA’s 1200 and 750 Hour Master Aesthetic Courses are nationally accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences, Inc., (NACCAS). The National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences is recognized by the United States Department of Education as a national accrediting agency for postsecondary schools and departments of cosmetology arts and sciences, and massage therapy. Schools that are accredited have met national standards of educational performance, which have been determined by a neutral non-governmental agency. NACCAS is recognized under the provisions of Chapter 33, Title 38, U.S. Code and subsequent legislation. Accreditation of an educational facility is the most respected indicator of a school’s dedication to superior educational practices.

NIMA is a member and extensively involved with the American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS), which gives us access to excellent resources for our students.
NIMA is a member of the Utah Medical Association.
NIMA is a educational provider for the Utah State Office of Rehabilitation.
NIMA also offers programs which have been approved by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA for Veterans) and their dependents educational benefits.
NIMA utilizes SMART School Software, which provides an automated means to more effectively manage schools for the long term. The SMART Technical Support team is made up of professionals with extensive understanding of the processing related to Title IV funding and daily school operations. NIMA Students are ensured that there are no interruptions with the processing of Federal financial aid.
NIMA is an approved Occupational Skills Training Provider with the Department of Workforce Services.
Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.
